Self-injury support for young women and
their friends and families

The Bristol Crisis Service for women helpline is available three evenings per week to young women who are in need of support. It’s a helpline where you will be listened to, not judged.

Get Connected
Get Connected provides a free, confidential helpline that that can give you the support and information to decide what you want to happen next. It could be anything from a listening ear to somewhere safe to stay for the night. Contact them by phone, email or live webchat. Get Connected can also put you through to the Bristol Crisis Service for Women helpline for free. Service for young people. http://www.getconnected.org.uk

LifeSIGNS
LifeSIGNS provides web based information about self injury and a peer moderated message board. http://www.selfharm.org

theSite gives advice to young people on nearly everything: health, relationships, emotional wellbeing included. http://www.thesite.org

Young Minds
Young Minds is a national organisation concerned with promoting better mental health for young people. They provide downloadable leaflets for young people and a helpline for parents. http://www.youngminds.org.uk/index.php
