Due to the clubs extensive growth over the past year, a small "but perfectly formed" Social Committee has been formed to highlight external social activities that athletes may wish to attend. These will not necessarily be on a sporting theme but more for team building and morale purposes. Events such as - Clubbing, dinners out for an athletes birthday, going to watch a local band etc will form the core of these 'Social Events'.

The social committee is currently lead by: Gavin Elliott, Zoe Dawson, Nigel Bush and Helen Middleton. Although anyone can organise an event, as long as it does not clash with another Biggleswade Athletic Club event.

If anyone wishes to organise or advertise an event, please contact a member of the committee.

Saturday 9th June - Everton 5-a-side Football Just like last year, Everton Village are holding a 5-a-side football competition after the 3 mile trail race on Saturday 9th June. Last year we managed to make it all the way to the final and were only knocked out on penalties. We had a great team which included Hucky in goal, Tanya as manager and Gav as "super Sub" which hopefully will reform for this year. If you are interested in making a second team. Or a ladies team, please leave your name on this forum. Experience not essential, but having "an idea or a clue" is beneficial.
