Mouse and Mousse are two charming female Magpies, born April and March 1998 respectively.

We got them from Kim Holmes in the Summer, and recently put them with Lyall (also from Kim) - a handsome boar. Lyall recently gained 2nd prize in the RV class at Eldwick (Worth Valley Fanciers) show.

Although Lyall's markings are far from perfect for a Magpie, he is nicely-proportioned pig, and we are hoping for great things from the offspring. From their size and shape, we think Mouse is carrying 4 piglets, and Mousse 2.

The latest (3rd January 1999) pictures. And look who's here !! Here's proud mother Mouse (left) with her three healthy babies. These pictures show them about 2 hours old - on 27th December.
On the right we have today's proud mum (Mousse). These are also 2 hours old - she hasn't had chance to finish cleaning them up yet !
