"There is a sadness in this world, for we are ignorant of many
things. Yes, we are ignorant of many beautiful things--things like
the truth. So sadness, in our ignornace, is very real.
"The tears are real. What is this thing called a tear? There are
even tiny ducts--tear ducts--to produce these tears should the
sadness occur. Then the day when the sadness comes--then we ask:
'Will this sadness which makes me cry--will this sadness that makes
my heart cry out--will it ever end?'
"The answer, of course, is yes. One day the sadness will end."
- Cooper believes firmly in the content of his dream; he has now decided to find "BOB"
and denounce him as the killer.
- There is an "evil" presence in the woods. The Bookhouse Boys are a secret society
dedicated to fighting it. Sheriff Truman, Big Ed, Deputy Hawk and James Hurley are all
members, as well as the man who took Donna to James in "Pilot" .
- Ed Hurley was watching Jaques Renault at the Roadhouse when he was drugged. The Bookhouse
Boys know someone is running drugs accross the boarder and are determined to stop them.
They have captured Bernard Renault, but Jaques has escaped.
- Sherriff Truman hit Albert.
- Albert filed his report; Laura had a "J" on a plastic fragment in her stomach and had
been attacked by some sort of bird. She had been tied up twice. She was a cocain addict.
- Who killed Laura Palmer?
All the evidence now points to Leo Johnson. He was dealing in drugs that Laura was using.
James Hurley can be dismissed as a suspect because of his involvement with the Bookhouse
Boys.
