"A poem as lovely as a tree:
As the night wind blows, the boughs move to and fro.
The rustling, the magic rustling that brings on the dark dream.
The dream of suffering and pain.
Pain for the victim, pain for the inflicter of pain.
A circle of pain, a circle of suffering.
Woe to the ones who behold the pale horse."
- Leland Palmer, possessed by "BOB", drugged Sarah and then murdered Maddy.
- Leland is, and always has been, the killer.
- The Log Lady knew that something was going to happen at the Roadhouse, where Cooper saw the
Giant.
- The Giant knew that "BOB" was killing Maddy, and gave Cooper the warning "it is happenning
again".
- Ben Horne has been arrested, but Cooper doesn't believe he is the killer.
- Bobby has a tape recording of Ben and Leo plotting to burn the mill.
- Harold Smith is dead, having committed suicide after Donna let him down. His last note was
J'ai une ame solitaire, which is French for I have a lonely soul. These are the
same words that Mrs Tremond's grandson (the Creamed Corn Kid) said to Donna.
- Catherine Martell is alive. She has returned to Twin Peaks disguised as Tajamura to take her
mill back from Ben Horne.
- "BOB"'s appearance coincides with a smell of burning oil.
- How much of Leland's actions have been Leland and what has been "BOB"? Does Leland know what
"BOB" is doing? Does Leland have a hope of ridding himself of "BOB"?
- Where has Catherine been? How did she survive?
- Who is the Giant? Why does he keep leaving cryptic clues for Cooper?
- It appears that Mrs Tremond's grandson has access to some sort of intuition similar to the
Log Lady's.
- "BOB" seemed under the impression that Maddy was Laura during the murder. Does this mean that
he killed her simply to relive the experiance of the first murder?
- If the burning oil smell accompanies "BOB"'s appearance, that means that Leland was under the
influence of "BOB" when he attacked Jacoby, as Jacoby smelt the smell at the Gazebo.
