Description
Laminar
ST is ICARO 2000's trademark of the super glider, an evolution of
the very successful well known model. ST
stands for Senza
Torre, the
italian words translating kingpostless.
The result of this developement is a superb wing, responding to pilots'
highest performance demands, but still easy in handling.
The crossbars are made of carbon composite, and attached to the frame
through a special joint involving aeronautics technology; the frame, as
usual, is made of the best tubes available, produced in aluminium alloy
7075 by Alumenziken (Switzerland).
Laminar ST most outstanding features
are :
 | improved efficiency at speeds
ranging from medium to high |
 | improved max speed, and less time
to reach it |
 | improved stability at high speed |
 | amazingly easy handling, more
agreable when turning |
 | integrated battens |

ST
MR2000
The ultimate competition glider!
The same implementation used by Manfred Ruhmer with his latest
improvements, not DHV certified (
note: this does not mean it is a dangerous glider! Manfred will
never tune a glider to be dangerous, it would be just dumb! Still,
the extra advice given by him regarding how to fly this model must
be followed).
During the last World Championships, Manfred (1st) and André Wolf
(2nd), flew this model.
