Welcome to the Web Site for Alan Howes Associates (AHA), the independent Public Transport (Transit) consultancy based in Dunblane, Scotland, and active both in the UK and overseas. The aim is not to be flashy, but to be both interesting and useful. If it tempts you to talk to AHA about consultancy requirements, so much the better.

PLEASE NOTE: At present (July 2001) Alan Howes, the Principal of AHA, is working on a one-year contract in Dubai, UAE. Accordingly, the ability of the consultancy to undertake new assignments is severely limited. Development of this website has also been suspended – I am afraid that no significant changes have been made since 1998.
