v John Cochrane is a supply chain enthusiast with many years experience in senior logistics management positions within the drinks industry and more recently as a 3^rd party service provider. His background covers all spheres of interest in the logistics business and he has successfully delivered projects ranging from Warehouse design and construction to implementation of ERP systems in blue chip companies.

Starting off in Industrial Engineering and quickly moving to operational roles, has provided a wealth of practical background and strong man management skills.

John was instrumental in much of the re-structuring of the distribution network of a national drinks supplier in the UK and has several major depot moves and start-ups to his credit.

Working in Eastern Europe and China on prospecting for new business and process of due diligence in acquisitions, has developed a wider commercial appreciation and business building expertise.

As a contract manager for a major blue chip drinks supplier and later, as a service provider, John feels well equipped to understand the needs of modern day business from both points of view.

Involvement in the development of state of the art supply chain planning tools and the creation of new replenishment and logistics planning departments has ensured that John has much of the up to date expertise needed to optimise the modern supply chain. Other recent projects include mobile technology applications in the field, and interfacing WMS to automated warehouse operations.
