with mechanical problems off Cellardyke. ILB located and towed the casualty safely into Anstruther harbour.

DATE: Wednesday 23rd April 200817:12 Request from Forth Coastguard to assist a creel boat drifting to the shore having lost power. Both lifeboats launched, ILB towed the casualty into Anstruther harbour escorted by the ALB

DATE: Saturday 22nd March 200813:34 A member of the public alerted the lifeboat station and ILB
within the harbour, to assist two persons who had been washed from
the East Pier at Anstruther, during a very big swell braking over
the harbour wall.
One person managed to swim to the ladder and climb out, the second was
unable to and was picked up by the ILB crew and returned, badly shaken
to the Lifeboat Station where assistance was given.

DATE: Saturday 8th March 200815:14 Request from Forth Coastguard to assist two divers off Fife Ness
overcome by the wind and tide. ALB in the harbour and proceeded to the scene.
Shore crew also went to assist, ambulance was tasked.
Two other divers eventually assisted them to the shore
launch and search for two persons in kayaks reported as No further assistance required the ALB & shore crew
returned to Anstruther for re-house.

DATE: Sunday 10th February 200818:37 Request from Forth Coastguard to launch and search for two persons in kayaks reported as last seen near the Isle of may at 11:30 hrs. Both boats proceeded to the search area in the fog. Persons located safe & well camping on the Isle of May. No further assistance required the ILB re-housed and ALB bearthed in Pittenweem with re-house at 06:45hrs on 11/02/08.

DATE: Thursday 3rd January 200815:40 Request from Anstruther Harbour Master to assist a Cabin Cruiser
sinking alongside the pontoons within the harbour.
Crew assembled and waited for the tide to pump out the vessel, ILB launched
to assist, vessel re-floated and berthed. No further assistance required the ILB re-housed.
