Webster HotLists
Webster can have several Hotlists, but always has a main one called HotList
. This hotlist can of course have links to other hotlists, but you can also open any hotlist from an icon on Webster's toolbar.
The Hilights ...
- The Main HotList is in a directory called
HotLists
and is called, amazingly, HotList. By default this directory is within Webster's directory, but by defining the variable Webster$HotLists you can put it anywhere you wish and use any directory name.
- To add a link to a HotList you can use the icon on the Toolbar. This allows you to add to any hotlist.
- Any HotList can point to any other HotList.
- You can Edit any HotList Entry from the HotLists Menu.
- You can sort any Hotlist Alphabetically using it's menu.
- The order of entries can be changed by draging them around.
- To move an entry from one hotlist to another, open both lists and drag the entry between them.
- If you want to open a URL that is similar to one in a HotList, then Simply open that HotList and drag that entry to the 'Goto URL' window and then edit it.
