Things to do with Webster
A rough list of things to fix or implement in Webster. They are in no particular order.
Things to be added or fixed
- Support Frames fully. (Basic support is already in 0.20d)
- Support for <font colour=xx>.
- Support for <large>, <small>, and tags.
- Allow a click on a link while decoding to stop the decode and fetch the link.
- Support New format sprites
- Record inline jumps in History list (optionally)
- Add proxy icons i.e. those beginning 'internal-'.
- Support Animated Gifs (Version 0.20 supports animated sprites, all that's required is an appropriate gif to sprite converter, e.g. Intergif 5)
- Add Support for JavaScript. (This will probably be limited support)
- A form with no reply allows multiple selection of radio buttons in the same esg!
- Reloading the reply to a form should repost the form.
- The Width=100% attribute in the <table> tag sometimes overlaps tables in a table.
- The <center> tag doesn't work all the time.
Things I will probably add
These I consder less important, so they will not be a priority (Unless I can be pursuaded otherwise) but they should get done eventually.
- Add POP UP MENUS FOR lists as in windows (optionally)
- Add an extra field on infobar for image loading progress (maybe)
- Make the text box on form menus open the menu.
- Change the <HR> and <TABLE> tags foreground colours with the text colours.
- Add Compact lists?
- Shade display field of menus when the menu is all shaded.
- Shade all radio buttons in group if one in group is selected AND shaded.
- Select radio button if no others in group are selected.
- Implement align=char in tables.
- Allow ommitting of the </caption> tag.
- Multitask page saving (Drawfile saving done)
- Store details from <Entity> tags and allow the details to be viewed.
