ENTRY: I the undersigned accept that I must consider myself on a private excursion and that the organisers are responsible only for providing a route and time checks. I accept that the organisers will not be held responsible for any accident caused to me or by me to a third party. I agree to abide fully with the AUK Regulations for the event. I note in particular that I am responsible for ensuring that my machine complies with current Road Traffic Act Regulations and is in a roadworthy condition. I have given details of my AUK Membership (or my CTC/BCF membership number is: __________________) otherwise I have applied for temporary AUK Membership.

PARENTAL CONSENT: This is required for entrants under 18 years of age. Parents should note that routes cannot always avoid trafficked A and B roads and may cover high and exposed ground. Some routes are a severe test of stamina and cycle control. They should also be aware that unlike normal CTC runs there are no leaders as such. Entrants must consider themselves as being on a private excursion and rely on their own arrangements in the event of failure to complete the course. Responsibility for roadworthiness is that of the entrant. I have read and understood the above:

RIDERS' PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE One of the essential regulations of events registered by AUK is that all riders must have cover for public liability claims against them: AUK members have cover for all events under AUK regulations via the AUK policy, CTC members have cover for all events under AUK regulations via the CTC policy, BCF individual members - NB individual not merely members of a BCF affiliated club - have cover for all events under AUK Regs. via the BCF policy.
ALL OTHER RIDERS MUST FILL IN THE APPLICATION BELOW. I wish to apply for temporary membership of Audax United Kingdom for the event above. I understand that this entitles me to cover under the AUK Public Liability Policy for the period of the ride. I enclose a temporary membership fee of £0.50.
