Picture Collection by Brian Hanson.

Brian was the drummer in the "Junior Johnson Trio" which used to play in the Main Lounge. He was the substitute drummer after the regular guy was taken ill in Las Palmas. Since Brian has contacted me he has been able to get in touch with the keyboard player from the band as he has also e-mailed me just recently.
Brian worked on the ship at the same time as my brother Ray and below is a picture ("lounge2.jpg") of my brother "doing his thing" in the Main Lounge.

Due to a huge volume of questions I am asked, for which often I do not have the information, I have decided to ask that only ex-crew actually write to me please.

I am delighted with everyones contributions, and will occasionally update the Australis web site, using photos/stories etc sent to me. However I cannot answer any more questions.

Thankyou for your sustained interest in the SS Australis Homepage.
