From Crick with love Christmas gifts were collected in Crick Church as part of the 10.00 am service on 17th November to be sent to children in Central Europe. As part of the Samaritan’s Purse scheme, shoe boxes were filled with presents suitable for boys or girls of different ages and went to make Christmas a special day for children who would otherwise have had noth ing. This was organised by Jean Garner.
Churches join for nativity presentation. Crick and Lilbourne amalgamated their services on 8th December for a
joint nativity at Burnum’s Farm. Cold and draughty it helped to think about what
Jesus’ birth would have been like. Children from both villages took part in this
memorable and moving |
