Who and what there 'Y' Sections ???????????
'Y' Section's were part of the most secret of all secret's of World War II, the main work of a section was to Listen to the enemy wireless transmissions and to locate the position of the transmitter by the use of directional finding (D/F) and then to log / record, all transmissions all these log's would then be send to Station X, which was Bletchley Park.
