Electric Editors run a weekly mailing list for language
professionals - people working with languages in any way, shape or form.
Whether you're translating, editing or proofreading in other languages -
this list is for you.
We hope to:
share news and views relevant to people working with
modern languages
provide a forum where linguists can ask for and
receive help, and find information, about issues such as: the languages
themselves (vocabulary, usage, grammar), reference materials,
software,editorial questions etc.
draw on each other's experience and resources as far
as is practicable
start building links between subscribers in order to
facilitate a skills exchange so that we can pass on work to one another
provide a resource to enable clients of all kinds
(publishers, agencies, direct customers) to find someone with the skills
they are looking for.
