Council Tax is to rise by 3.9%. Yet again this is more than the rate of Inflation.

There is a rise in the pipeline for Councillors.
There are associated costs in the new powers given to areas.
Litter is always a problem and there do seem to be Hot Spots. Dog fouling continues, so if you have a problem in your area contact us and we will do our best to have the area cleared.
Regular requests are received for Traffic calming. Your local councillors have maintained pressure and 20 mph speed limits and road upgrades to the existing scheme in Cavendish Road have been agreed and Lyndhurst Road will also benefit from a new scheme.
Only the completion of the MAELR and the A6 bypass will resolve the majority of the pressure on our local roads.
We are working hard to restore our quality of life and to protect our enviroment for the future.

Maureen was elected as the new Councillor for Bramhall East Ward with a majority of 20 votes.
