Back in 1997, yourguide to Calne was the leading choice for information for residents and visitors. It was the first Calne Town Guide on the web. Everyone wanted to be in it, since then people have learned that they can produce their own web sites and now every club school and business has one. They have become used to expecting a link from here but despite the site being free, no longer wish to provide information which they feel they can publish themselves. As a consequence some essential information has become outdated and events information, formerly a mainstay of the site is rarely provided.
I have with much regret decided to discontinue the site.
