 land and sea, through rain, high winds and treacherous hail storms.
   it came as quite a come-down, then,

   mice were leading the Boogaloo'ers

       \   |          advantage over the rest of the Boogaloo'ers,

         /   \        as a mark of authority.

                      your own rules.

    throne of The Land of Funk. . . .
                                    . .it all seemed like a perfectly
           acceptable idea at

The High Priest normally lived in  the  Kingdom  of Groove, not in the 
squalid state of exile  he  was  in  at  the  moment.   and though the 
kingdom was indeed great, it was often very cool.  very cool indeed. 
and when Mel B is introduced into a cool environment,

          \                      and then, remembering something
           @                      that was once said a very long

                                  anatomy and it's downfalls, he
                                 had an idea.  Though fearing
                   what would happen if word
             got out about exactly what
        he was thinking, he took
   exile in a far off place.

             which is where we are now,
                           if you'd care to notice.

It was The High Priest that created         everyone was happy,
  The Land of Funk and all it's             e though a certain level
 inhabitants, as it was considered          e  of doubt spread 
that a holy figure living amongst them      e     throughout The Land
  would be a whole lot more believable      e that had not concerned
 than some bearded chap in the sky.         e    him before he had
                                            e   taken the time to be 
He created both male and female             e so close to a
                          Boogaloo'ers      e      (( female )).
  and gave birth to the vibe that spread    e
 throughout The Land (which was a very      e

 A horrendous monstrosity crashed through  the ceiling of The Priest's 
shelter, snarling and spitting.  It  attempted  attacking Mel B at one 
point, but got a bit irritable and tangled up in her hair.

 "That's it!" cried The Priest,  pointing  at the monster.  "I created 
that!   I  attempted  making   genitalia   for   the  entire  Boogaloo 
population!  I only meant to do  good,  but  at the last moment it all 
cocked up!"

The group panicked and the monster  turned  towards Mel B for a second 
try and this time, even with her big boots and full-on Girl Power(tm), 
she was struggling to fight back the foaming mutant.

The Mice from Bagpuss desperately tried  to  think of something to do, 
but even they were unsure how to tackle this monster member.

                                  distracted by this sudden intrusion,

And so, the three Boogaloo'er citizens, Mel B, The High Priest and The 
Mice from Bagpuss climbed  inside  the  rather  large cannoe and waved 
goodbye to the helpful snake, monkey  and half a bleeding chicken that 
remained, before sailing off for homeland.

  \\====/      of The Land of Funk, that tried everso hard to look
           romantic and picturesque, though ultimately failed in
            the end and simply looked a bit square and jagged.
   and as the sun slipped jerkilly beyond the dotted line that was
 there to serve as the horizon, one of the Boogaloo'ers asked what
    was to be done about the horrific state of the land back home,
        as this may well have been an exciting adventure, but
  the crime and violence still has to be stopped.
    "Well," said The High Priest, as if he'd done this sort of thing
  before.  "That is another story altogether."

   and Mel B laughed. loudly.
