Introduce someone (or treat yourself!) to the challenge and interest of learning a traditional skill. On a one day course you will learn grooming and harnessing a Heavy Horse, then finish the day with a drive. More intensive two and three day courses are also available.

No previous experience is necessary.

ADOPT A HEAVY HORSE

£10 for Juniors and £25 for Adults

Anyone can enjoy having their own special Trust horse to care about for a year. They will receive an adoption certificate, a photograph and fact sheet, and a quarterly newsletter. Four free visits to Forge Wood Farm are included and members can enjoy a hands-on session.

Horses available are:-
Boxer, Sam, Captain, Jack, Major, Monty, Dylan, Ruby 1, Bess, Bonny, Poppy, Unity, Ruby 11, Apricot, Alice, Ben, Hamish.

Treat a friend to a year's membership of The Working Horse Trust.
