TERMS OF BUSINESS

Orders
For Mail Orders we accept payment by cheque, (subject to normal conditions) or by postal order, which should be made payable to:

Credit Cards
Access and Barclaycard (MasterCard and Visa) are accepted for all sales and are particularly welcome for telephone orders.  Under normal circumstances credit card orders can only be dispatched to the card holders home address.

Post and Packaging
Post and packaging will be charged in accordance with rates shown on our order form.  All material will be supplied in 1 ft. Lengths unless otherwise requested.  Although we do our best to be helpful, our liability ceases when we despatch the goods for which we obtain a record of posting.  Goods are despatched uninsured except up to a limit governed by Parcels Force.  Should insurance be required then an appropriate fee is payable.
Should customers be unavailable to receive goods on delivery the goods will be either left without signature or returned to the carriers depot. Liability will then be with the customer.

V.A.T.
All U.K. orders (including postage and package charges) are subject to V.A.T. charged at the rate on the date of invoice.

Overseas Customers
Overseas customers are requested to submit payment by credit card, as this is the simplest method, however, International Money Orders, Bankers Draft or Credit Transfer is acceptable.  Personal Cheques are accepted providing extra time is allowed for clearance and banking charges included.    All cheques must be in pounds sterling.

Goods
Defective goods will be replaced free of charge, however, we can not always be responsible for package and postage charges.  Goods returned to us for any other reason will incur a restocking charge of 20%.  We reserve the right to invoice goods at prices ruling at the date of dispatch.  Any other enquiries must be accompanied by s.a.e.  Please write your name, address and telephone number in block capitals.  Please state minimum lengths of material acceptable.

Drawings
Where drawings are supplied with castings these are intended for guidance only.

Trades Descriptions Act
Every care has been taken to describe our goods correctly.  Any errors are unintentional and will be corrected if you advise us accordingly.  We cannot take responsibility for drawings supplied these are only intended for guidance and information.

Package & Delivery Charge (U.K.Mainland Only) extra on all orders
        For Order Value up to £10.00 exclusive of VAT - £3.50
        For Order value over £10.00 exclusive of VAT and up to £25.00 - £5.95
        For Order value over £ 25.00 exclusive of VAT - £7.95

Overseas Delivery Cost please as for Prices.

Please Add Package, Delivery and VAT at 17.1/2% to all Orders for delivery to  EC countries. Other countries allow for delivery cost only.
