Who's Who?

Each register class has an assigned guidance teacher, who will usually work with that class. Remember that as a pupil or parent you are very welcome to contact either Mr. McGinlay or Mr. Morton as you prefer.

Services to Pupils

As a pupil at Sandwick, you should know what we hope to provide for you during your time with us. We...

1. help you to settle in when you first come to Sandwick
2. are available for you to drop in for a chat. We may not always be able to speak to you right away but we'll arrange to meet with you later in the day or the next day
3. follow your work in classes to help you achieve your best
4. encourage you to enjoy your time at Sandwick
5. help if you are worried about bullying
6. help you to choose courses for third year and fifth year
7. keep in touch with careers officers and training providers
8. help you to decide what to do when you leave Sandwick
9. write references for you, recommending you to potential employers
10. teach your PHSE classes in third and fourth year
11. help prepare you for work experience in S4 and visit you there
12. listen to you if you are getting in to trouble and look at ways of avoiding trouble in future
