We are especially trying to set up a special Net project which depends on the support of all our readers. We want you to post examples of engineering or architecture from your country which exemplify good design. It may be a building of any kind, a dam, a bridge, a road, a port, a service related scheme, anything from the built environment, and not neccessarly man's built environment. It can be from any time. You or your firm may be a member of the design and construction community, a student or just a connoisseur of all things good. As a minimum, post us either the name and location of the thing you have in mind but preferably some history, photos, drawings and details and your reasons why you think the scheme is a good design. It may look nice but does it fulfill its function? We would like to build up a qualitative idea of what constitutes good design throughout the world. We'll set up a searchable database for free use once we reach a point.
