TURNAROUND SHOP & OLD SCHOOL CAFÉ (updated 07/02/06)

Located within the mission headquarters we have facilities to provide people with a place to relax, chat, eat and obtain excellent quality second-hand clothing every Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 2.00pm.

Situated, as our centre is, in possibly one of the most needy areas of Coventry it is not surprising that the take up on such provision by the local community is good. Underlying the fact that we are obviously meeting a real need.

Both these facilities are run by volunteers drawn from local churches.

The need for extra voluntary help is always an issue, even though the facilities are only open Tuesdays and Thursdays. We do require extra pairs of hands to sort clothing (Monday to Friday), sell clothing (Tuesday and Thursday), to wash up or cook (especially if have relevant food hygiene certificate). Why not come and sample our renowned Big Breakfast from £1.40 and look round our facilities?
