CAITHNESS SEA ANGLING ASSOCIATION

NORSCOT JOINERY SMALL BOAT COMPETITION

23rd & 24th August 1997

Dear Angler
The Association would like to invite you to take part in our fourth annual small boat competition.

Again this year if the weather prohibits fishing from Scrabster the event will be switched to the east coast to ensure that both days can be fished.

Boats entered for this event must be towable and be between 14 and 21 feet in length.

All boats must be equipped with a VHF radio, an inshore flare pack, lifejackets for all anglers and an anchor with rope.

Prizes will again be awarded to the boats and not to individual anglers.

Last year the cash prize list was in excess of £500.

Registration will take place in the Weigh-Inn Motel, Thurso from 9 pm an Friday 16th and also at the harbour from 7:30 to 8:15 am on the Saturday. The presentation of prizes will be held in the Ormlie House Hotel, Thurso at 6:30 pm on the Sunday evening.
