The Oxford Movement is the first volume of a new series called Canterbury Sources intended to give access to a wide range of printed and manuscript sources in the Archives and Library at Canterbury Cathedral or to present other historical material relating to Canterbury.

This bibliography presents over five hundred items from the library of Archdeacon Benjamin Harrison (1808–1887), one of the early participants in the debates around the Tractarian or Oxford Movement in the mid-nineteenth century and author of four of the Tracts for the times. Well-represented authors include Hampden, Keble, Newman and Pusey, together with many of the anonymous participants in an often acrimonious controversy.
