A Sad Loss
All those connected with the branch have been saddened to learn of the death of Jo McLaughlin.
Jo was a mainstay of the branch for many years, working in the Home Support Service bringing rest and respite, and some hope, to beleaguered carers. Later Jo became a Carers' Support Worker with principal responsibility for Durham.
Jo died recently after suffering ill health for some time, and the funeral was held on 16 April 2003. Jo was 64. Our sympathy goes to all Jo's family and her many friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.
