Open day successes!

Jennifer welcomes people in the Market Place, Durham.

The Durham and Chester-le-Street branch of the Alzheimer's Disease Society held two Awareness/Promotion Events to commence the celebration of our 20th Anniversary.

Marjorie pulls a mean cup of tea!

The first event was in Chester-le-Street Library on Thursday, 11th February, 1999 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. and the second event was in the Town Hall, Market Place, Durham on Friday, 19th February,1999 between 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

The Mayor of Durham, Cllr Derek Young, called by for a cuppa!

There was a display of our services, advice and information, and sale of promotional items and refreshments were available.

All those that attended either event were sure of a warm welcome and some tasty food.
