The Alzheimer's Society national helpline is a telephone helpline that provides information, advice, support and referrals to anyone with concerns about Alzheimer's disease or any other form of dementia. Callers speak with trained helpline advisors.
The helpline is open from 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Calls are confidential to the helpline and callers need not give their name unless they want to receive information thorough the post.
Calls to the helpline are charged at local rate from anywhere in the United Kingdom.
As well as responding to the needs of callers to the helpline on the telephone, the helpline service provides written answers to queries by letter, email and fax.

- coping with caring
- community care

We provide the helpline service for:
- people with dementia
- their carers relatives
- and anyone concerned about dementia including professionals working in the field of dementia care
We can also offer emotional support as a 'listening ear'.
