The branch depends on voluntary donations to keep going providing information and advice to carers, sufferers and others. Raising money to help the elderly can be difficult as perhaps the cause does not have the "instant appeal" of some other worthy causes. But the ageing population is set to grow rapidly, particularly in Durham and Chester-le-Street and the needs of the branch will grow. We will all, we hope, be old one day.
All donations are welcome. If you would like to contribute using Gift Aid (which can be used for "one-off" donations now) please contact the branch office.
