From Durham and the south
Enter Chester-le-Street on the A167 from Durham. At the first roundabout (after left hand bend and going under railway bridge) turn left. Follow road to mini-roundabout. Go forward, keeping Esso filling station on your right to next mini-roundabout. Bear left under railway bridge to next min-roundabout. Turn right into South Approach. Give way to oncoming vehicles at traffic calming islands. The Branch office is on the right. There may be parking in to left of the office. Please park tidily to use the limited space well.
From the north and from A1(M)
Leave A1(M) at Chester-le-Street junction and take A167 to Chester-le-Street. Follow dual carriageway south, at first roundabout go forward, keeping BP filling station on your right. At next roundabout, turn right into Ropery Lane. At the top, at mini-roundabout, turn right, but keeping Esso filling station on your right to next mini-roundabout. Bear left under railway bridge to next min-roundabout. Turn right into South Approach. Give way to oncoming vehicles at traffic calming islands. The Branch office is on the right. There may be parking in to left of the office. Please park tidily to use the limited space well.

"The Green" is at Nettlesworth, just off the A167 about halfway between Durham and Chester-le-Street. Coming south from Chester-le-Street, you turn right at the "Red Lion" roundabout signed for Sacriston.
Coming north from Durham City, you turn left at the "Red Lion" roundabout signed for Sacriston.
About 500 yards on the right you pass the old Community Hall and after that there is a right turn for The Green. You will see the day centre set back from the road, a two storey building with a sloping flat roof among single storey bungalows. Take the right turn and follow it round to the left after fifty yards and the day centre entrance will be on your left (the side away from the main road).
