Christmas is about Jesus birthday. The Father God gave us Jesus as a
gift, because we did no know God, but through Jesus we can, as Jesus shows
us what God is like.
Jesus is a gift to us, but He also brings us many gifts.
- Gift of Eternal life - John 10.10 This is the most important
one. We have forgiveness of sins and eternal life
- Gift of righteousness - 2 Corinthians 5.21 We can live good
lives, before God. We can talk to God whenever we want without fear.
- Gift of sanctification. - Jude 24. Jesus has given us the
ability to be good on the inside by his Holy Spirit. There is no need
to struggle to be good. The Holy Spirit does it for us, if we let him.
- Gift of God's love. - Romans 5.5 This love is in us to help
us love others - even the hard ones.
- Gift of divine health in body and mind - 1 Peter 2.24 We can
be healed in every area of our lives
- Gift of God's provision. He will meet all our needs - Philippians
4.19
- Gift of God's protection - Psa 91
- Gift of Gods security - John 10.28 We are wrapped in His arms
- we can be safe in Him. Nothing can take this security away
- Gift of the promise to be our shepherd. Psalm 23. In other
words he will look after us totally, and forever
- Gift of God's strength - we can handle anything in his strength
- Gift of God's peace. John 14.27 There is no need to worry
- God is in control
- Gift of God's presence in our lives all the time. 2 Corinthians
6.16
- Gift of the Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17 and with the Holy Spirit
comes even more gifts. See 1 Corinthians 12.1-10
- Gift of being His minister of reconciliation to the rest of the
world - 2 Corinthians 5.18. All of us have the ability and privilege
to share what Jesus has done in our lives.
