Help me to do what you wantThis is a simple responsive prayer asking God to help us change our lives as he sees fit It was originally used as a response to the story of the ten plagues. I pointed out how stubborn Pharaoh was. I made the point that God does not want us to be stubborn, but He wants us to let Him change our lives as he see is right.
Father I know you want the very best for me
Father I want to trust You to do the very best for me
Father please change me into the person You want me to be
Father I will allow You to change me
Father I will trust You to do the best for me
Father plese do what You want in my life Amen Heavily adapted from: Celtic Daily Prayer - Inspirational prayers and readings from the Northumbria Community, Collins, 2000, 2005. ISBN 0 00 719907 4 Page 49, Meditations Day 4
