The general secretariat

The organizational administrative structure of the general syndicate of the engineering professions is formed of:

1.     The general secretariat of the syndicate of the engineering professions which is composed of:

a.      the general secretary + the vice-secretary + the secretary of the financial and administrative affairs + the secretary of the professional and scientific affairs + the secretary of the information  and culture affairs.The secretaries of the branch syndicates in the regions and their number (13)

b.     it undertakes the making of the general policy of the syndicate and the follow-up of its activities through periodic meetings held for this reason. It is the higher authority in the syndicate.

2.     the administrative secretary of the general secretary it is formed of:

a.      the general secretary of the syndicate

b.     the assistant secretary

c.     the secretary of the administrative and financial affairs.

d.     The secretary of the professional and scientific affairs

e.      The secretary of information and culture affairs.

This secretariat undertakes the managing of the administrative body that applies what is decided by the general secretary.

The general administrative secretary of the syndicate supervise the secretary of the branch syndicates which are (13) distributed in different regions according to the professional density of the engineers and engineering technicians.

It carries out the issuing of the acceptances of practicing the profession for the engineers and engineering technicians in the different fields of the engineering at the higher levels.(specialized consultation office up to (123))

National consultation office specialized in different branches of  engineering activities.

The engineering offices shall be declared with the knowledge of the syndicate branch in which the office is located in its vicinity.

The general syndicate of engineering professions has one scientific society that issues one specialized scientific magazine under the name of “the engineer” since 1982, it has  up to now(40) issues.

The syndicate undertake the organization of local scientific conferences an meeting periodically.

The last one the national conference f engineers held in misurata. On 11-12/10/1998.

The No. of branch syndicates in the regions(13) distributed according to the professional density.

Their number will be extended according to the public benefit.
