This is a copy of my tribute to the
late Stuart Adamson, This was posted to the official bulletin board on the day
of his death, and it totally sums up my feelings at the time..
I'm sitting here at work, Stuart singing in one ear,
punters with computer problems in the other, Every now and again, my voice catches
and my eyes fill up, I'm totally stunned by this tragic news. This man has supplied
the soundtrack to my life, the first album I ever bought, The crossing, the greatest
gig I've ever been to, Final Fling at the Barras, the music I always fall back
on when there is something in my life I need to deal with, on goes Stuart and
the guys, up goes the volume, and suddenly my little bit of the world seems better.
I just can't believe he's gone. My heartfelt condolences to his family, Mark,Bruce
and Tony, and to all the BC fans around the world who, like me, have lost a litle
piece of themselves today.. Stuart, you're the man... Wherever you are I hope
and pray that you've finally found Peace, because if anyone deserves it, you do..
Thanks for it all... Mike
