Calluna vulgaris 'Alexandra'AGM

A bud-bloomer starting with bi-coloured white/crimson buds which darken with age to a uniform deep crimson, Aug-Dec, with dark green foliage. Upright, bushy habit. More compact and a deeper red than 'Marlies'. Named by Kurt Kramer after a famous German singer. Progeny: 'Larissa' Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
