Crimson (H13) flowers, Aug-Oct, with dark green foliage of delicate appearance. Open erect habit. Sport on a wild plant collected by C.W. Nix, Tilgate, Sussex, England by 1934. Progeny: 'Alportii Superba' Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
