Calluna vulgaris 'Joy Vanstone'AGM

Lavender (H3) flowers, Aug-Sep, with straw coloured foliage in summer, orange in winter. A beautiful, much under-rated, plant. Named after Mrs. Vanstone, Lowson Ford, Warwickshire, England wife of Jack Vanstone, director of H.V. White, flower sellers, of Birmingham. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
