Calluna vulgaris 'Silver Knight'

Lavender (H3) flowers, Aug-Sep, with downy grey foliage deepening in winter to purple/grey. Neat but vigorous upright habit. Named "Because it stands straight up like a knight in armour". Progeny: 'Flaming Silver'; 'Gold Knight'; 'Grizabella'; 'Inge'; 'Velvet Fascination'. Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
