'Valorian'

Deep lavender (H3) flowers, Aug-Sep, with dark green foliage. Very dwarf, prostrate habit, shy flowering. Named after the introducer's children, Valerie and Orian, being a deliberate cross between 'Mrs. Ronald Gray' and 'Foxii Nana'. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 26-30cm.

'Van Beek'

Magenta (H14) flowers, Aug-Oct, with greenish-yellow foliage tipped yellow. In winter the foliage is yellow with light red nuances. Erect habit. Sport on 'Finale' found by A. Van Beek (Loenhout, Belgium). Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.

'Velvet Dome'

Dwarf plant with no flowers producing a dense mat of bright green foliage in summer turning brown/green in winter. Found near a copper mine in Cornwall, England by John F. Letts. Ht. < 10cm. Spd. 21-25cm.

'Velvet Fascination'

White flowers, Aug-Sep, with downy silver grey foliage deepening a little in winter. Erect habit. A first class plant which does not become drab in winter like so many other greys. A sport from 'Silver Knight'. Progeny: 'Elly'; 'Natasja'. Ht. 46-60cm. Spd. 61-75cm.

'Violet Bamford'

Pink flowers (H8), Jul-Aug, with yellow/green tipped orange/gold in summer, turning orange/red in winter. Compact prostrate habit. Ht. 16-20cm. Spd. 31-45cm.

'Visser's Fancy'

A bud bloomer, f. clistanthes, with mauve (H2) tips to the bud fading to pale lilac (H4) at the base, Sep-Nov, with dark green foliage. Erect habit. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
