Scented, cerise (H6) flowers in long sprays, Jul-Dec, on dark greyish green foliage. Vigorous upright habit. Sport on 'Heaven Scent'; first sold un-named in 1998 to a few landscape gardeners by C. Kampa, Chobham, Surrey, England, before coming to the notice of John Hewitt, Summerfield Nursery (Frensham, Surrey, England). Ht. 75-100cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Pale pink flowers, Jul-Oct, with yellow foliage in summer deepening to a golden yellow in winter. Tall bushy habit. Hardy. This cultivar is a selection from deliberate hybrids by John Griffiths between Erica vagans 'Valerie Proudley' and Erica manipuliflora 'Aldeburgh'. It proved to be one of the best introductions of any heather in the 1990's. Named after his wife. Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
