  Volume one of a two volume set published in thirteen fortnightly parts. A note in part 13 states that the history will be completed in a second volume, to be published in the early part of 1901, but owing to the difficulty of obtaining accurate information concerning the later episodes, it will not be issued serially. Volume two was in fact not published until 1904. ( See Hackett pages 64 and 140 )
