
The junction itself, the Banbury line falling away to the right of the building in the middle ground, that to London curving gently to the right also. To the left, the site of the signalbox with a sculpture of sleepers, once a fuel store, but then charred in the brief fire set to destroy the signal box in order to recover its metal components for scrap.
