The cutting south of the short tunnel is spanned by this diminutive accommodation bridge, known locally as 'The ghost bridge'. The road works were originally going to sweep this relic away, but it has now been found possible to retain it together with this length of tramway, and cursory repairs have been carried out to its western abutment.
