"A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon"

(A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF) JIMMY REARDON

This movie, made by Island Pictures, is the story of a young teenager (I would say about 17 or so) called Jimmy Reardon (played by the late River Phoenix).

Alongside River Phoenix and Meredith Salenger, Ione Skye also appears in this movie, which is based on the life of a young teenager and what can happen, ie car chases, love, fights etc.

Meredith plays the character of Lisa, who is one of Reardon's girlfriends. She is also the richest one of them all - she's off to Hawaii the next day - and Jimmy wants to join her on the flight there.

But first, Jimmy needs 88 dollars to make up the 199 dollars he needs for the flight out there. Jimmy's father wants him to go to college but, as usual, Jimmy has other ideas, and sets about them in such a hilarious way.

Finally, he ends up on a train going west... to who knows where!!!

This film is quite good, in fact it is well worth a look for those of you who can see it.

Released on the SONY label in the UK, the movie is available to rent worldwide in most major movie chain stores.
