The Avro Vulcan Bomber was used by the Royal Air Force, 
 as Britain's strategic nuclear deterrent between 1956  - 1984.

First flown in 1952, the Avro Vulcan was to spearhead British nuclearandconventional bombing capability for 
more than 30 years. 
As a conventional bomber the five-man Vulcan
 achieved dramatic success in the1982 Falklands conflict.
