Soundtracks

FatSow this week was once again complaning about the quality of in-game soundtracks. I say, blame wipEout. This games soundtrack was so amazing that it blew away the Great Wall of China. Well, maybe, but you see my point......

Now, this was a first in the gaming world. There had been bands doing music for games before, but not on this scale. And it hadn't been this good. The "Rave" soundtrack of wipEout was instantly copied, and now we see the need to have one in every racing game.

They can be done well, as shown in wipEout 2097, or badly, as in Screamer 1/2. But "rave" dosn't always work, I would be happy to play GT with just the raw Garbage music. It's fun enough.

Digi!

The digi! website now seem to have everyones attention. It is truely great, and I'm on there this week. Yeh!

(And anyone that dosn't get Ask Bungle should be shot in the pubic area)

Biffo, and misunderstandings

Paul Rose seems to thrive on Misunderstandings. Amiga owners mis-understood him on the "Amiga Joke" affair, and others mis-understand his humour. But the very nature of Teletext leads to this behaviour.

Since the man hasn't any room to really make any proper comments, no one knows what he really means. It's only though alt.digitiser that we really have a clue what he was on about on the Web Review thing back on Monday. I'm starting to feel Paul REALLY needs a weekly coloumn of his own, maybe on the Teletext site. Otherwise he don't make any wicked safe sweet sense, man. Respect.

If you havn't been to the stolen Teletext graphics site yet, you should. Rather shockingly, it looks more like text than teletext.co.uk does.

And I'll say it once more. This should be a Digitiser Mirror site......

There's no God Speaks this week because, well, I already hate the thing. I so dearly wish to reserecct Beret. It was easier to write......

Also, if you are in alt.digitiser you'll know that the last few days (in real life) have taken the life out of me somewhat. To be honest, I've felt so depressed I could of killed myself 4 times over. It's down to several things, and no, not that foul mouthed thing. So I'm sorry if the quality of page170 has suffered this week, but there you go. I havn't felt like this for 3 years........
