You are now looking at the dying days of page670, sort of.

At the moment I can't wait to get my hands on some old BSB (British Satilite Broadcasting for idiots, not the infamous Fuckstreet Girls) graphics to get British Satitical Broadcasting under way. The new site will be very much, well, like this one, without all the video games and digitiser connetations. Actually, there will be some digi type things, without being digi likes.

Basically, it'll be a weekly elongated version of Lowline, plus other, rather strange articles, such as those by Thrillo, and other great non-exsistent writers. You can expect more in the "Teletext run by Dogs" vein, for example.

As soon as I do get some old BSB idents (if I don't I'll have to fabricate some for myself, some may which look very similar to the old page670 graphix, except larger) page670 will end. SuperNews49 will probably survive into a serious part of BSB (possibly the editorial) and the WTF? will still be produced under the hands of some one else, under a diffrent name.

In other words, page670 as a site will not continue, but it's spirit will live on, though the hearts and minds of the world. And Matthew Garrett.

As for Video Games, as a career it's still something I wish to pursue, I know the scene and what I'm talking about, but Video Games sites aren't as few and far between as humourours Satirical Surreal Digi things. Also, I could never afford resonable new games to review, or easily get hold of them for review copies. The overblown counter was supposed to counter act this, but it just made the site look stupid. I never did get 30,000 hits. Though I have gotten over 2000.

Obviously I'll be looking for someone to manage the WTF. Which I am. If anyone can seriously be bothered to keep up the pretence of a digitiser internet community, or goes to #digi-98 often, and would be able to keep it updated, then please Email me about it and we'll go on from there.

The archive will remain on site will a "This hasn't been updated since 2008" message to confuse the bots, and ordinary peeps. A Listbot will also to set up to updateo the patrons, or maybe even supply them with the e-zine itself, which is something I've been thinking about for a while now.

And if a.d gets any more stupid, I may even leave there, as well, as it gets more and more abandoned by regs. BSB will updated by posts to alt.ezine and alt.games.video.digitiser, and maybe alt.humour.british, if I can get it created. Which I doubt, because alt.config hates me for some reason (the visible part of a.c anyway).
