OHMIGOD digi's changing! (YOU BASTARDS!)

After the 470>170 fiasco of 2 years ago, digi is again moving to page 670 of channel 4 text. According to Biffo Man digi's moving, along with Club 440 and "It's your foot![life]" to accomadate for the new Pre miership pages Teletext will be carrying. C4 Teletext is just getting bigger and bigger (makes you wonder why they don't use the 400-499 pages of ITV text, but anyway....)

Obviously, like the Beret experience, p170 may have to move with the times, and change it's name to page670. Alternativly, I could change the name of the thing all together.... Sommit like "Webitizer" [sic]. To be honest, I havn't got a clue what I could call it otherwise. page670 seems my only option... (And it's not like the other digi sites' names are a hot bet of originality.... Digi!? DYS? SuperPage58?)

Any suggestions should be thrown at my mailbox thingy. ("It's an email address sir" - Adviser) Oh right, so it is. Ha Ha. Yeah.

Linux "Fun"

So it's done, I've sort of got news set up, the mail proggee works and everything is fun. Except if I ever have to compile anything again I will remove the head from Chester Fisho's Arms. If he has any.

Yes, the system is horribly complex. RedHat is far from perfect (Incidently the Gui that they provide is ugly, to install KDE you have to use your own fingers...) and it's daunting to even an experienced computer user like myself. To some extent it remind s me a little of AmigaDos, but then that was piss easy anyway (as was the rest of the system to set up)

Hopefully my net exploits will be moving onto to linux soonish, and I fancy making my own "Made with Linux" logo. I'll need a Penguin, or whatever that thing is on the backround of Linux.org

More Digi 'achanging

Back to Digi then. The removeall of Chester and Fat Sow has upset me a bit. Chester was always brilliant, and somehow, very very revelent. Fat Sow was a rudeness I liked to hate. So why the hell has Biffo got shot of both of them?

Has Teletext put their foot down on offensive comments and silly "jibes"? Or is it the BUSINESS MAN, with his Suit and Tie? I'm sure L&H have nowt to do with it (at least I hope not. They probably love digi, and give it the once over daily) but it looks like Biffo really does need some webspace where he can "mouth" to his hearts dis-content. He needs a mailing list, and a lot of time.......

(Though now seeing that Fat Sow is back, maybe Biffo told them to fuck off.......)

Yo-Yo's

If you havn't noticed, the yo-yo is back. Of course this time they are diffrent, with springs and things (which only make the tricks easier). The toy manufactures seem to bring it back every year when they run out of ideas. It stinks of Pogs and Ta magotichis (the last two big Parent-cry fests). But hey, who cares? It'll just go away again.....

So what I'f I'm getting one....

Digi's Sub-editor

I'm sure Digi's Teletext Sub-ed will become hated by the digi net community, after Biffo dis-closed his exsistence in alt.digitiser last week. Hopefully he won't become Bunderman 2, he's got a job to do and keeps Teletext and the ITC off Biffo's back. That said, Digi is less risque than ever, and really, needs a kick up the arse. Being on teletext dosn't help matters....
