Postcards from Scotland by Ogilvies

A colourful piper playing in the Highlands                                   1)  A Piper will not always be seen as you tour the Highlands but as they are a symbol of Scotland (as many others here are) this one card would probably carry a message which could only come from the hills of Scotland.  Piping plays a very important part in the culture of Scotland and goes back into the dim and distant past.    As there is nothing quite so stirring as the sound of the massed pipes and drums it is certainly easily understood why the English attempted to end their influence back in '45 by banning them completely.           Main   More   Order

 2) A Taste of Scotland.  While visiting Scotland you will enjoy the Just a 'wee' taste of what you can enjoy when you visit Scotland sound of the pipes (some say that that is not joy but deafness - while others say it's a sign of good taste) but the whisky and the haggis is something to write home about.   So why not a postcard showing some of the great tastes one can experience while traveling around Scotland.   In this card you can see evidence of the whisky, the haggis, the pipes and one can easily get the impression that a good time can certainly be had while visiting here.           Main   More   Order
